BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• CMT certification must be current
• CPR certification required
• Passes medication and gives treatments according to physician’s orders and in accordance with facility policy.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication using specified procedure.
• Takes vital signs or observes resident to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Documents reasons prescribed drugs are not administered.
• Gives direct patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, and assisting in examinations and treatments as needed.
• Attends inservice education programs, as assigned, to learn new treatments, procedures, develop skills, etc.
• Reports and, when appropriate, records any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidents.
• Must be able to follow directions, both oral and written, and work cooperatively with other staff members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
